Quality Assurance Specialist

We are in search of a Quality Assurance Specialist with demonstrated success in supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS). The Quality Assurance Specialist will focus on coordination, accounting, planning and administration functions. The successful candidate will provide business management support in areas of budgeting, financial analysis and planning and control of funding and allocation of funding. The Program Analyst will provide business process analysis to describe and create defined business and operations controls and processes.

Essential Functions
• Applies experience and detailed knowledge applicable to quality assurance (QA) programs or projects
• Acts as a contributor or member of a team for projects within a defined area of responsibility
• Performs a combination of routine, multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of the PM
• Reviews, edits, and makes recommendations in support of the program portfolio
• Evaluates plans, procedures, and documents
• Analyzers documentation and determines material compliance
• Reviews and evaluates contractor performance through periodic audits and surveillance efforts

Must Have Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics
• 15 years’ relevant experience

Desired Qualifications:
• Familiarity with ANG standards, guidelines, and SOPs
• Familiarity with FAA standards, guidelines, and Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)
• Familiarity with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) and guidelines
• Familiarity with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) records policies
