National Job Corps Reporting Dashboard

TechTrend worked with the United States Department of Agriculture to migrate and modernize a national Job Corps Reporting Dashboard using Microsoft Azure Government Community Cloud (GCC). The National Forest Service (NFS) Job Corps Centers wanted to automate and centralize the collection, reporting for their volunteer students and fire workforce across the country at 26 locations. The NFS Job Corps was collecting their volunteer students and fire workforce hours manually via spreadsheet. This process was time-consuming and resource-intensive and they needed to free up their time and resources. TechTrend built a centralized and automated Microsoft Government Community Cloud platform with real-time tracking of student project work and employment with the National Forest Service.

TechTrend built the Job Corps Reporting Dashboard leveraging their user experience (UI)/user design (UX), cloud-native, agile approach. This final application provides tracking of non-fire and fire-related activities, associated hours, projects, and demographic information of all the Job Corps students. The final application provided real-time reporting and eliminated data calls and manual collection.
