Muscat (3%)
this site produces Wei-Kü’s most textural and rich Grand Cru – though we are talking about Wei-Kü so when I write “rich” I still mean more lithe than nearly 90% of the other wines made in the Mosel
and the scond from a vineyard called “Vaupessiot” with older vines and a full south-facing exposition overlooking the Yonne River
The wines range from fresh and gulpable to intense and age-worthy
The resulting wine born of tiny yields—1-ton per acre—has a powerful mid-palate structure that tastes like $50 Pinot Noir
