Chanin Wine Co. 'Sanford & Benedict Vineyard' Chardonnay 2019 Size:Regular with deeper cherry pit andPlanted in 1971, Sanford & Benedict is the most storied vineyard we work with. Its unique combination of rocky soils and cool climate makes dark and brooding wines that still have elegance and minerality. This chardonnay comes entirely from the old vines. The near perfect, but tinny clusters, were pressed and directly put into French oak barrels (20% new) to ferment. The wine stayed there for 18 months on its lees and was then racked and lightly fined
