Charming Folk Art Perched Owl Doorstop antique naive painting but based on the colorI've gotten pretty picky about the folk art doorstops I bring home, looking for ones that are either pretty unusual or have amazing old painted surfaces. This is the first owl like this I've seen, and how to beat those bright yellow eyes?!! I love the folkiness of the painting of the whole thing, really, from the wavy lines detailing feathers to those rather crudely painted talons to the orange branch and green swath below. To my eye a total charmer,
