Scarce Antique Dog Food Tin with Fierce Bulldog lessons in geometry and the lid closes tightI have found exactly one antique tin out there similar to this one, that one with embossed dog (close but not quite as great as this bulldog) along with the words "free sample" I believe indeed indicating that it contained a free sample of some sort of dog food, though the maker I do not know. Very early 20th century I believe, and just an excellent thing. With tight filling, paint can style lid (I believe this type of lid was invented in 1884 by New
