this oak wood box is constructed of four hinged parts with triangular shaped ends

which from what I understand was the generic sticker for glass made in Czechoslovakia

and if I did not know better

as it feels great in the hand

all as documented--one along the exterior of one face

Carved from one piece of wood, and often like this one taking the form of a structure with a few balls inside, I think they're a pretty brilliant expression of the skill and creativity of their makers.
