Wonderful Old Make Do Folk Art Two Player/Team Score Counter with Screw Eye Pegs on Chains victorian seaweed sample so scooped this curious littleThis is clearly a homemade score keeping board it also looks a bit like a cribbage board but it is not that made to count up to fifty points for each of two players, or teams, though I have not figured out what specific game it was made for. Not a bad device for counting the weeks of the year then taking 51 and 52 as vacation! (And I'm a big believer in taking folk art counters like this as launching points for inventing games of ones own.)
