Fabulous Old Carved, Painted Folk Art Horse with Bristle Mane and Tail carved wooden Hitler figure and of course I likeGreat horse. I found this one on a day at Brimfield when I had come across a sequence of nice old carved animals that were priced beyond what I could justify happily my patience was rewarded. Photos give a good sense, including of its very soulful feeling carved out eyes. The mane and tail I believe are made of straw bristles, with the way the mane falls to one side of the neck I think especially beautiful looks like it was adhered via small holes cut
