Produced by Roger Bechirian, it reached #6 in the UK, the bands highest charting LP. Hypnotised was recorded at Wisseloord Studios in the Netherlands, December 1979, and Eden Studios, London in January 1980. Only barely less perfect than the groups debut album, it contains 14 punky pop classics, with a slightly tougher and musically more sophisticated edge
