Description
My guess is that this little vessel is Italian and dates to the late 19th century
and no loss of lacquer on the interior It measures It measures 3 7/8" tall x 4 3/8" wide overall
It measures 5 5/8" tall with a diameter of 4 5/8" at opening and a width of 7 1/2" from spout to handle
so I won't even try to get into them here
this piece is in very good condition and structurally very sound
Miniature Handmade Matchstick Water Tower century of progress exhibition My guess is that thisI assume this little structure is meant to represent a water tower, and I'd guess it was made as part of an elaborate model train set up which, if so, I'd really love to have seen in full! I just love it as a painstakingly constructed little object, complete with this terrific pointy roof made of what appears to be strips of bark. I'm not sure if the rest of it is constructed of actual matchsticks or just matchstick like little sticks, but the effect
