I have found a few different Mary Rand's who were artists

The box measures 6 1/2" long by 3 3/8 inches wide and deep and is in great vintage condition

I assume it was made to hold cigarettes on one side and matches on the other

Beau Brummel No. 53 Vintage Horsehair Barber's Brush Louisiana native Simultaneously earthy and cheerfulThe thick, rounded handle of this vintage Beau Brummel barber's brush neck brush makes it a really great one to hold in your hand, and it's pretty beautiful, too! This one has had a life, with a few scratches to the finish at the base of the handle and a couple of black spots on the wood, but these give it a nice patina of age and use and the horsehair bristles are in very good shape (and nice and soft on one's neck!) 7" long x 1 7 8" in diameter.
