who I'm very sad seems never to have chosen one to give back to our Emily

This drawing (along with several others I've had int he shop) came from a sketchbook of drawings by Helen Malta from the 1930s or so

so here they are

with the horsehair woven through what seems likely to be linen cloth (visible just above the scalloped edge of the pink cloth)

which makes them even rarer
