I really like the combination of strong straight lines on the black-painted structure with the unpainted zig zag chip-carved decoration inside and in between

so I removed the print from the backing it was attached to (cutting carefully through old masking tape to do so) and have put it in a simple black frame with white matte

Really beautiful

also very minor

And the color of the black and red suits is super saturated

Very late 19th very early 20th century I believe, sewn of cotton fabric and stuffed with cloth it seems, with a hand embroidered face and cotton yarn (dyed in variegated shades of browns) for her wonderful head of hair.
