Description
It has a much more attractive bouquet than the 2015 Olivier with crushed strawberry
I like this for its generosity as well as for the sheer depth of material and while there is enough mid-palate fat to allow the ’04 Bâtard to be approachable now
this wine is a monument to what Champagne's grower revolution has achieved over the last 30 or so years
warm blackcurrants
they have a unique mineral-scented character that gives them their own complexity and style
Olivier Leflaive, Puligny Montrachet Folatieres Vintage:2023 It has a much more(from Peux Bois). There is a whiff of the exotic to the spicy, acacia blossom, white peach and dried apricot infused aromas. There is both better volume and mid palate density to the caressing but punchy medium bodied flavors that exude a hint of minerality on the clean, very dry and lingering finish where a hint of wood emerges. This is already good and is potentially excellent. (91 93) 2025+
