Angular Developer
TechTrend is currently seeking a talented Angular Developer to join our team of talented staff in helping to modernize how citizens interact with their national forests. Primary Responsibilities:
Developing user interfaces for modern, rich internet applications with the latest front-end technologies
Performing product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.
Actively participating in agile ceremonies
Following software engineering best practices such as XP, TDD, BDD etc.
Writing tested and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Implementing software development best practices such as CI/CD
Making design and technical decisions for Angular projects.
Developing application code and unit test in the Angular, REST web services.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT is preferred
4+ years of hands-on development experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently or within a team
BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
8+ years in Software development using Angular or Java Script front end development
At least 2-3 years’ experience with Node and the Angular Framework
Experience with dynamically built displays
Knowledge of Angular services and interfaces to connect the fronted to the server via API calls
Experience with unit testing with Karma
Experience writing end 2 end tests using Javascript in Selenium is a plus
Strong expertise with HTML5, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code
Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation Techniques
Experience with RESTful services
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Experience working on agile teams
Experience with CI/CD is a plus
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
