-
Assess & Discover
A cloud security assessment is the first stop in any organization's cloud journey. Evaluate your current environment and identify applications and workloads for cloud adoption. Collaborate and develop a strategy and roadmap.
-
Design & Build
Next we develop the cloud migration plan. The cloud architecture is built leveraging Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.
-
Migrate & Modernize
We build, test, and release applications to the cloud using a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) process that enforces security and accessibility testing. This release process improves maintenance and patching capabilities. During migration, we aim for zero-downtime and a seamless end-user experience.
-
Host & Manage
During this phase, we secure, host and manage your resources using the appropriate security standards and controls for your environment. Our cloud operations team completes testing and documentation, configuration management, and monitoring services.
-
Optimize & Innovate
We go beyond lift and shift--in this phase we optimize your organization's resources. By implementing and managing automation and support continuous improvement leveraging FedGovCloud DevSecOps and other industry leading toolsets. This saves our customers time, money, and resources.
-
Manage & Secure
Project management ad cybersecurity is continuous throughout CEPS. Our certified project managers ensure that the project is within scope, cost, and budget. Cybersecurity is incorporated early in the design and build process and once the system is operational we implement continuous monitoring.
Cloud Deployment Types
There are four main cloud deployment types: public, private, hybrid, and government. TechTrend’s cloud experts provide reliable, scalable, and secure cloud deployments.
Public Cloud
Third-party providers own cloud resources and are operated over the internet. In a public cloud deployment all the hardware, software, and other supporting infrastructure are owned and managed by the cloud provider. Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services are some examples of public cloud deployments.
Hybrid Cloud
Organizations choose hybrid cloud deployments because they combine public and private cloud deployments. Data is easily shared between these two types of deployments.
Multi-cloud configurations can also be viewed as hybrid cloud deployments. In this configuration, an organization uses more than one public cloud and its on-premise data center.
Private Cloud
Cloud computing resources are owned exclusively by an organization. This includes cloud servers, hardware, and storage. This offers organizations the most control over their data and their infrastructure. It can be a physical on-premise data center or hosted by a third-party service provider. Private cloud deployments are managed by the organization's internal IT department.
Government Cloud
Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft all have government cloud deployments.
Microsoft's Government Community Cloud (GCC) is widely used across the US federal, state, local tribal, and territorial government bodies. TechTrend is a Gold Cloud Platform provider authorized to re-sell GCC IL4, IL5, and IL6 levels.
Cloud Service Types
TechTrend and its customers collaborate to create and execute a cloud strategy roadmap. This dictates which individual or combination of cloud services is best for their specific migration.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
This is an instant computing infrastructure that is provisioned and managed via the internet.
Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas)
IaaS is highly scalable and flexible allowing customers to pay for the cloud resources they need.
Software as a Service (SaaS)
Users connect to and use cloud-based applications over the Internet.
Software as a Service (SaaS)
Customers rent the use of the app for your organization and users connect through a web browser.
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Develop, run, and manage applications without the complexity of building and maintaining the infrastructure.
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Resources are purchased based upon a customer's demands and are accessed via a secure Internet connection.
Serverless
TechTrend runs the cloud server and allocates machine resources on-demand.
Serverless
This enables developers to build applications faster by eliminating the need for them to manage the infrastructure required to run the code.
