TechTrend is currently seeking a talented MS Azure Architect to pave the way for one of our government clients towards a state-of-the-art digital transformation process that focuses on hybrid cloud technologies using the Microsoft Azure Cloud. The candidate should have hands-on experience in the designing, architecting, and implementing of cloud services. The candidate should also have experience in MS Azure cloud security/governance including subscription design, resource groups, and RBAC policies. An in-depth understanding of authentication and authorization services is also required: SAML, LDAP, AD, and ADFS. Ability to develop scalable, flexible, and cutting-edge assets, solutions, and thought leadership pieces to support our clients on their digital transformation journey and bring a unique mixture of business and technology expertise developing cloud architecture plans that define how technology can create value for our clients. Poses business and technology acumen working alongside client leadership to define strategies and opportunities in technology. As a Technology professional, will develop innovative solutions and approaches, identify the most important cloud needs and help to develop a sustainable plan in the cloud

Responsibilities:

• Gather Initial Requirements  
• Develop Milestones and Sub-task plan  
• Develop initial Architecture and engineering design plan  
• Develop initial access method and implementation plan for governance model that will dictate role-based access  
• Develop baseline for deliverables to include Network access, Restriction of internet facing resources within cloud platform, provision and configure computer resources within Azure and complete project final acceptance (sign-off)  

Technical Requirements:

• AZ–500 Certification needed
• AZ – 300 and AZ – 301 Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with Azure
• Strong background in IT infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, storage, and security
• Experience with Azure Services, including Machine Learning, Analytics, Databases, Azure Identity and Security Services (Active Directory, Domain Services, Defender, Key Vault, Sentinel, Security Center), Management and Governance (Landing Zone, Automation, Cost, Policy, Compliance), Migration Services, Networking (including Express Route, DNS, Network Watcher, and Load Balancers), and Development (including Azure DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Azure Functions for serverless solutions
• Design and Deploy Cloud services in a high-performance production environment
• Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps environments
• Create scripts and templates for automatic provisioning of resources
• Produce Azure Resource Templates, Policies and Governance Plans
• Map Azure Active Directory to the organization ADRecommend proposed security and patch updates as they become available
• Day to day activities related to managing and maintaining compute resources within Azure Tennant
• Deploy web and service-based applications in Windows/Linux environments per mandated by the Government
• Create development and testing environments from on-premises to cloud-based
• Deploy highly available, scalable, and secure applications within Azure tenant
• Provide a working model of Azure Resource Manager
• Automate manual tasks using PowerShell scripts
• Experience working on projects that implement analytic models into production systems
• Worked on or implemented a Cloud migration project a plus
• Experience creating documentation and diagrams
