Azure GCC High/DevSecOps for Serco NA

TechTrend has just kicked off a new project working with Serco Inc (Serco). Serco is the Americas division of Serco Group, one of the world’s leading service companies. Serco employs approximately 9,000 people across the U.S. and Canada. The company delivers services to all branches of the U.S. military, federal civilian agencies, state and local agencies, and commercial customers.

Serco Project Overview

This project includes setup and/or review of Serco’s existing landing zones in both Azure Government and Azure Commercial to prepare for assessment and migration/rebuild of selected on-premises applications to Azure.

The landing zones will be configured to adhere to target security requirements including the first wave of migration/rebuild which will establish a landing zone in GCC High for CMMC compliance.

Serco Project Goals

Subject Matter Expertise Consulting (Cloud and DevSecOps Integration)

Providing subject matter expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Migration Strategy, and Cloud Business Process Management. This will include evaluation and audit of existing Microsoft Cloud systems and providing support for adopting CMMC compliant services including alignment with NIST 800-171, DFARS, and ITAR requirements in the approved cloud environment.

Application and Software Development Support (DevSecOps Integration)

Providing application/software support to develop, maintain and enhance capabilities provided for this Cloud Adoption Services program with an easy and efficient process to provision and manage the cloud environment.

Serco Project Results

Currently we are in the process of assessing the Serco environment, reviewing the initial architecture diagram and SSP and planning the migration/rebuild of their applications. This is planned in 3 migration waves which will occur over the next 6 months.
